Fall is around the corner, and it’s time for our 19th Annual PumpkinFest. This will be a “Spooktacular” Outdoor Halloween Celebration that includes a vendor market, family-friendly haunted tree house, Tootsie Express train ride, field games, activities, craft, and our signature Trail of Treats!

New This Year:

One Continuous Event! Guests may arrive anytime between 10AM and 3PM and stay until the event closes at 4PM.
New Activity Station: Trading Post. Bring your completed passport to the trading post to claim a prize!

When do tickets go on sale?

Tickets are on sale starting July 29th 2026.

How do I buy tickets?

Create an account today if you are not already a member of SmartRec, ensure you add each child you wish to register for PumpkinFest tickets to your account.

Please Note: we find using a computer easier than a tablet or cellphone.
Create Account and then pay as directed.

We currently cannot accept payment via cash, debit, or visa-debit online, if you are unable to pay by credit card please come to the Nature Centre.

If you need any assistance, you can give us a call (905) 356-7384 or visit the Nature Centre during business hours (open daily 9am-4pm).

How do passports (admission tickets) work?

Unlock Activities: Use your passport to access exclusive activities. Present it to staff at the stations to get it checked off.

Claim Your Reward: Once you’ve completed your passport, bring it to the Trading Post to claim a prize!

Do I need to buy an admission ticket for each child?

Yes, each child requires an admission ticket. The passport must be presented to participate in the trail of treats, haunted tree house, train rides, crafts and games.

Can I buy admission tickets for friends/family?

Ticket(s) purchased for someone else will appear under the name of the account holder. If the tickets are purchased in conjunction with other groups they will appear on the same passport and will need to stay together for the duration of the event.

Do adults need to buy an admission ticket?

No – PumpkinFest activities are geared for children and youth/adults with special needs. Admission tickets are required to get a passport to participate in the activities.

Do I need to buy an admission ticket for my toddler?

Only if you would like your toddler to participate in the activities listed above. Anyone participating must have a passport.

Can I pick up our tickets in advance?

Yes! We encourage this. Passports will be available for pick up starting on Friday, October 16th at the Nature Centre, open 9am to 4pm daily.

Will there be food available?

Yes! French fries, hot dogs, cold and hot drinks will be available for purchase. Cash, Debit, Visa and Mastercard are accepted during the event.

Can I get a refund?

No! There are NO refunds but you may transfer your admission ticket to another individual. They will be required to provide proof authenticating the transfer from you to them. Please have them bring this when they pick up their passport – either day of or in advance. Passports will be available to pick up starting on Friday, October 16th at the Nature Centre, open 9am to 4pm daily.
