Heartland Forest is proud to offer workshops led by staff and volunteers with years of experience teaching individuals with acquired brain injuries, autism and other developmental disabilities the art of woodworking.
ABOUT OUR WORKSHOPS:
Heartland Forest’s workshops are open to private and community groups for individuals with acquired brain inquires or developmental disabilities.
All workshops include:
- An indoor space in our Nature Centre for 2 hours.
- Guided instruction from an experienced woodworker.
- A take home project for all participants!
BOOKING ADDITIONAL TIME OR SPACE:
Make the most of your visit to Heartland Forest, have lunch and walk the trail or play a round of mini-putt. Additional add-ons are available based on availability, for pricing and availability please contact us directly.
If your project does not take the full 2 hours allotted all groups are welcome to utilize their space by having lunch or taking a self guided nature walk free of charge.
