Mission: To provide an interactive nature experience for all, building lifelong connections with nature through dynamic and inspiring programs. With a goal of preservation and sustainability we engage the hearts and minds of our staff, volunteers and visitors.
Each year, more than 20,000 visitors come to experience the natural features and accessible trails and facilities on this unique property. Many more participate in events and rent facilities for their own private events (i.e. birthday parties). Others visit Heartland Forest Nature Experience for the educational programs that are popular with children, adults and educators!
The trails are open daily to the public from early morning to dusk. General admission to use our hiking trails and facilities is by donation. We take great pride in offering these great activities to our community, and we run partially on donations to sustain these services. If you are with a small group, please give us a call before coming to visit! We are excited to have you as our future guests of Heartland Forest!
